DiMarzio Air Classic Humbucker Guitar Pickup
DiMarzio Air Classic Humbucker Guitar Pickup
DiMarzio loves the sound of late 1950s humbuckers, but they didn't want to simply imitate them by using Alnico 2 or "aged" Alnico 5 magnets. Airbuckerâ„¢ technology was created to capture all of the best sonic qualities of vintage humbuckers while avoiding the technical problems. The Air Classicâ„¢ has the same sweet sound as a classic humbucker, but Airbuckerâ„¢ technology permits DiMarzio to use a more reliable full-strength Alnico 5 magnet and still reduce string-pull to increase sustain and sensitivity.

DiMarzio D Activator Humbucker Guitar Pickup
DiMarzio D Activator Humbucker Guitar Pickup
Both the D Activatorâ„¢ neck and bridge pickups were designed to eliminate the sterile edginess commonly associated with active pickups.

DiMarzio D Activator 7 Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio D Activator 7 Humbucker Pickup
Active humbuckers have a distinctive sound: powerful, clean, open-sounding, with excellent harmonic overtones and very tight lows. This also fits the description of a great 7-string pickup, if the problems associated with active pickups sterile sound and limited headroom could be eliminated. The D Activator 7â„¢ does just that.

DiMarzio DP189 Tone Zone S Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP189 Tone Zone S Humbucker Pickup
The Tone Zone S™ brings the performance of the famous Tone Zone T™ to a humbucking Strat® replacement pickup. DiMarzio has built-in the tremendous mid-range and bass response of the original Tone Zone®, and the same patented dual-resonance design produces great harmonics.

DiMarzio DP196 Virtual PAF Neck Position Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP196 Virtual PAF Neck Position Humbucker Pickup
The Virtual PAF captures the finest qualities of 50's and early 60's humbuckers to create a great sound. Patented Airbucker and Virtual Vintage¬ technology permit the use of an Alnico 5 magnet to generate the same low string-pull that an Alnico 2 or 3 produces, and combine 2 of the most sought-after tonal characteristics: low note clarity and high note warmth.

DiMarzio DP197 Virtual PAF Bridge Position Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP197 Virtual PAF Bridge Position Humbucker Pickup
The Virtual PAF captures the finest qualities of 50's and early 60's humbuckers to create a great sound. Patented Airbucker and Virtual Vintage¬ technology permit the use of an Alnico 5 magnet to generate the same low string-pull that an Alnico 2 or 3 produces, and combine 2 of the most sought-after tonal characteristics: low note clarity and high note warmth.

DiMarzio DP207 Dropsonic Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP207 Dropsonic Humbucker Pickup
The new DiMarzio Dropsonic is a high-output bridge humbucker designed for the extended low end and heavy chords that dropped tuning delivers, plus serious treble response for single-note solos. The DropSonic isn't just a one-sound pickup, either. The patented design utilizes 4-conductor wiring to access 2 different single-coil sounds plus parallel humbucking mode, for 3 additional sounds that are distinctive and versatile.

DiMarzio DP209 P-90 Super Distortion Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP209 P-90 Super Distortion Humbucker Pickup
A Super Distortion in a P-90 package? Cool! The DiMarzio Super Distortion has been the industry standard since it's introduction in the early 70s. The new P-90 Super Distortion is DiMarzio's highest-output humbucking soapbar replacement.

DiMarzio DP210 Tone Zone P90 Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP210 Tone Zone P90 Humbucker Pickup
The Tone Zone P-90 is a high-output, humbucking soapbar pickup with the same sound and power as the Tone Zone humbucker. Like the original Tone Zone, it is designed for the bridge position and comes standard with 4-conductor wiring enabling series/parallel humbucking or split-coil modes. Available in creme or black.

DiMarzio DP213 PAF Joe Satriani Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP213 PAF Joe Satriani Humbucker Pickup
The PAF Joe is the new neck pickup that DiMarzio® developed for Joe Satriani. Joe wanted a neck position humbucker that combines the best qualities of the DiMarzio® PAF Pro® with those of a late '50s Gibson humbucker.

DiMarzio DP214F Virtual Hot PAF Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP214F Virtual Hot PAF Humbucker Pickup
The Virtual PAF™ captures the finest qualities of 50s and early 60s humbuckers to create a great sound. Patented Airbucker™ and Virtual Vintage® technology permit the use of an Alnico 5 magnet to generate the same low string-pull that an Alnico 2 or 3 produces, and combine two of the most sought-after tonal characteristics: low note clarity and high note warmth.

DiMarzio DP215 Evolution 2 Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP215 Evolution 2 Humbucker Pickup
The original Evolution® bridge model did exactly what Steve Vai wanted it to do: kick butt and produce serious scream. Now he wants something a little more complex-the same basic tone with increased headroom and dynamics, so that the sound kills on 10 and cleans up when the volume is rolled down. With a little less power than the original Evolution®, Evo 2™ balances perfectly with the Evolution® neck model and performs equally well with high gain and vintage amps.

DiMarzio DP216 Mo'Joe Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP216 Mo'Joe Humbucker Pickup
Joe Satriani has used the Fred® as his main bridge pickup for years. This year Joe asked DiMarzio for a hotter and bigger version to replace the Fred® in his new Ibanez guitars. The new model called the Mo' Joe™ is all about tone and definition. It's name says it all. It has more power than the Fred®, but it doesn't sacrifice clarity or dynamics.

DiMarzio DP217 YJM Single-Coil Pickup
DiMarzio DP217 YJM Single-Coil Pickup
You might not realize it from his music, but Yngwie Malmsteen is a vintage Strat® collector, and he swears by his 50s and 60s axes. He also swears by DiMarzio's HS-3™, and he's always wanted a vintage magnet-stagger version to go with his best guitars. While there is still a strong resemblance to the HS-3™, the YJM™ has more presence and brilliance, particularly on the high strings, and still no 60-cycle hum.

DiMarzio DP411 Virtual Tele Neck Position Single-Coil Pickup
DiMarzio DP411 Virtual Tele Neck Position Single-Coil Pickup
The neck model Virtual T? overcomes the complaint many Tele¬ players have about muffled sound in the neck position. It's very sweet sounding, but not muddy, even when the tone control is rolled down.

DiMarzio DP412 Virtual Tele Bridge Single-Coil Pickup
DiMarzio DP412 Virtual Tele Bridge Single-Coil Pickup
This bridge pickup combines some of their favorite qualities from different Tele¬ and Broadcaster¬ models: clean, snappy low strings, warm high strings, superior string separation, and balanced response.

DiMarzio DP415 Area '58 Single-Coil Pickup
DiMarzio DP415 Area '58 Single-Coil Pickup
There are two major differences between a great vintage Strat® pickup and an average one: treble response and dynamics. A great pickup is clear and bright, but not thin-sounding. A great one makes the sound jump out of the amp when you pick hard and drop way down when you play softly, and the tone varies when the string is picked at different spots. The best pickup DiMarzio has ever heard like this was from 1958, and that's what inspired the Area '58™, with two major differences. DiMarzio's pickup has way less magnet pull, and virtually no hum.

DiMarzio DP416 Area '61 Single-Coil Pickup
DiMarzio DP416 Area '61 Single-Coil Pickup
DiMarzio has been working on serious vintage single-coil design with no hum for eight years. DiMarzio's goal has always been to capture the best qualities of pickups DiMarzio heard from the 1950s and early '60s.

DiMarzio DP702 Blaze 7 Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP702 Blaze 7 Humbucker Pickup
The Blazeâ„¢ Bridge Model bears a strong resemblance to the Steve's Specialâ„¢. The mids are scooped out, and both treble and bass are boosted. The hot bass response gives the seventh string a lot of impact, while opening up the midrange keeps it from getting muddy. This enables the Blazeâ„¢ Bridge Model to handle both fast soloing and clean chords, because individual notes won't smear together with heavy overdrive, and clean sounds have an almost "hi-fi" quality.

DiMarzio DP704 Evolution 7 7-String Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP704 Evolution 7 7-String Humbucker Pickup
Combining the basic Evolution design with Virtual Vintage technology results in a 7-string pickup possessing crunching lows and intense highs. The output voltage of the Evolution 7 is concentrated towards the upper mids and treble, so there's a lot of cutting power, and the low end stays hot and clear.

DiMarzio DP755 Tone Zone 7 7-String Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP755 Tone Zone 7 7-String Humbucker Pickup
The Tone Zone 7? is not simply a 7-string copy of the original Tone Zone¬, but rather a new design that incorporates lower magnet-pull and coils specifically calibrated to reproduce the full impact of the low B string without any loss of tone quality or fidelity.

DiMarzio DP759 PAF 7 7-String Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP759 PAF 7 7-String Humbucker Pickup
The PAF 7? incorporates some of the same technology employed in the Virtual Vintage¬ Series to produce a sound that's both clean and open on the low notes and warm and rounded on the highs.

DiMarzio DP159 Evolution Bridge Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP159 Evolution Bridge Humbucker Pickup
This pickup is designed for maximum impact and power. The sound is tight, aggressive and loud. The design incorporates DiMarzio's patented dual-resonance coil configuration that senses more harmonic overtones than ordinary humbuckers.

DiMarzio DP153 Fred Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP153 Fred Humbucker Pickup
For straight-into-the-amp burning, FRED¬ lets you make all the changes happen right from the guitar. A short time spent exploring pick attack and the guitar's volume and tone controls reveals the wide variety of tones available from FRED¬.

DiMarzio Fast Track 2 Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio Fast Track 2 Humbucker Pickup
Like a Chopper on vitamins, the Fast Track 2? is a pedal-to-the-floor, side-by-side, twin-blade monster. It's got 3 times the output of an average single-coil, with a huge mid-range punch. The Fast Track 2? is a bridge-position-only pickup with a powerful crunch and grind designed right in.

DiMarzio HS2 Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio HS2 Humbucker Pickup
Warmer and slightly more powerful than an HS-1 HS-2 pickups are solid neck and middle position choices for guitars with a full-size humbucker in the bridge position. The HS-2 pickups natural tone blends well with humbuckers, making a smooth transition when switching from rhythm to single-note picking.

DiMarzio HS3 Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio HS3 Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio EQed the HS-3 with a broad low-end while gently rolling back the top. The result is warmth without a glaring high-end - just right for the guitar that needs more body and less screech. The HS-3 hum-free design lends itself to any performance situation. Try HS-3 pickups in a recording environment. No more dumping your best solo because of single-coil noise on the track.

DiMarzio ISCV2 Evolution Single Coil Pickup
DiMarzio ISCV2 Evolution Single Coil Pickup
Now for the very first time you can get the same pickup used in Steve Vai's Jem series guitars -- The DiMarzio Evolution ISCV2 Single Coil.

DiMarzio DP103 PAF Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP103 PAF Humbucker Pickup
Classic vintage tone - a smooth, almost voice-like quality - the PAF¬ has that intangible swell to the notes after attack. It possesses vintage output and breathes freely with an open, warm character. Played flat-out through non-master volume tube amps, the PAF¬ recreates the deep character of the great plug-in, turn-up, and wail school of tone.

DiMarzio DP151 PAF Pro Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP151 PAF Pro Humbucker Pickup
The PAF Pro¬ humbucker has the most transparent sound of the group of Modern Classic Humbuckers. That's not to say there isn't plenty of aggressive chunk in the bottom-end, because there is a spike in the mid-range that gives the pickup a subtle aw vowel sound, like a wah-wah pedal stopped in the middle.

DiMarzio DP104 Super 2 Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP104 Super 2 Humbucker Pickup
The Super 2 is just the pickup to clean up the overdrive sound of a mud-heavy 24-3/4 in. scale, 2-humbucker guitar. Add snap to a dark sounding 25-1/2 in. bolt-on. It works great in the bridge or the neck.

DiMarzio DP100 Super Distortion Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP100 Super Distortion Humbucker Pickup
This is the pickup that started it all. Many of the classic Rock guitar sounds of the 70's and 80's were produced by a Super Distortion¬ and a raging tube amp. But don't confuse classic with outdated. Diverse artists from Al DiMeola, Frank Gambale, and Vinnie Moore to Metal veterans Iron Maiden and Ace Frehley have chosen the Super Distortion as an integral part of their personal sound.

DiMarzio DP155 Tone Zone Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP155 Tone Zone Humbucker Pickup
The Tone Zone¬ has the most dramatic tone curve of the Modern Classic Humbuckers. The vowel-like open wah-wah feel of the PAF Pro¬ and FRED¬ is combined with tremendous mid-range and bass for a sound that really kicks hard.

DiMarzio DP102 X2N Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio DP102 X2N Humbucker Pickup
DiMarzio's highest gain pickup excels at thrashing your amplifier into screaming overdrive. Put one in the bridge position for a powerful boost in the voltage the amp sees from your guitar. The result is a hot sound with relentless drive.

Seymour Duncan SH4 7-String JB Model Humbucker Pickup
Seymour Duncan SH4 7-String JB Model Humbucker Pickup
A completely balanced coil configuration produces great harmonics and a high output with just the right blend of sustain and distortion. You get the best of both worlds: from sweet warm tones to raw rock 'n' roll. Combine this with the (SH-2) Jazz Neck and you've got Seymour's personal favorite combination.

Seymour Duncan AHB1 Blackouts Active Humbucker Pickup
Seymour Duncan AHB1 Blackouts Active Humbucker Pickup
These 9-volt active humbuckers deliver a less compressed tone, with a more extended frequency response. In Duncan's efforts to solve the issues involved in achieving that goal, they discovered that some of the most popular active pickups have what they consider a design flaw in their circuit architecture.

Seymour Duncan Antiquity Humbucker Pickup
Seymour Duncan Antiquity Humbucker Pickup
The Antiquity Humbucker is made to look and sound like a well-worn '50s humbucker as originally designed by Seth E. Lover. The pickups are built to traditional standards. Each has its own character and DC resistance, just like the originals. Seymour Duncan wanted to give the player a pickup that looks like it's been played regularly for 40 years, so they aged the nickel silver cover and the poles. Included is a front-tapered mounting ring and the screws that go with it.

Seymour Duncan Antiquity Telecaster Bridge Single-Coil Pickup
Seymour Duncan Antiquity Telecaster Bridge Single-Coil Pickup
Seymour Duncan has a great time re-creating the beauty of an early '50s lead pickup Tele. Using vintage techniques, each pickup is hand-fabricated and scatter-wound. All parts of the pickup are aged and given the look of a pickup played for 40 years! Like the originals, the ferrous bottom plates are not wax-potted for that "breakin'-up Tele twang tone" that's just on the verge of feedback. The pickups are Dun-Aged and come with mounting hardware, schematics, and tons of tone. The hookup wire is the classic "p back" cloth-braid wire.

Seymour Duncan Antiquity Telecaster Neck Single-Coil Pickup
Seymour Duncan Antiquity Telecaster Neck Single-Coil Pickup

The pickup comes complete with screws, schematics and vintage "push back" cloth-braid hookup wire.

Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Humbucker Pickup
Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Humbucker Pickup
After players heard the Alnico II Pro single-coil models, many asked for that same sweetness in a humbucker version. Seymour Duncan SH1 59 Humbucker Pickup
Seymour Duncan SH1 59 Humbucker Pickup
The most important thing about the vintage Patent Applied For pickup was its warm, smooth tone and sustain that was unlike anything heard before. The SH-1 is built with the same kind of enameled wire, nickel-plated studs, and balanced coil windings that humbucker inventor Seth Lover used in his first pickups.

Seymour Duncan SH10 Full Shred Humbucker Pickup

Seymour Duncan SH13 Dimebucker Dimebag Darrell Humbucker Pickup
Seymour Duncan SH13 Dimebucker Dimebag Darrell Humbucker Pickup
The Dimebucker uses a powerful ceramic magnet coupled with stainless steel blades for boot kickin' attitude. The secret to the Dimebucker's hard-hitting crunch is the small amount of metal mass in the core of the pickup. This allows the SH-13 to have both high DC resistance and a high resonant peak. The result is a high-output, aggressive humbucker with lots of treble bite and clarity, as well as punchy bass response and exceptional dynamics.

Seymour Duncan SH14 Custom 5 Alnico Humbucker Pickup
Seymour Duncan SH14 Custom 5 Alnico Humbucker Pickup
The SH-14 Custom 5 pickup was developed by an eager group of contributors to Seymour Duncan's web user group who replaced the ceramic or Alnico 2 magnet in an SH-5 Custom or SH-11 Custom Custom with an Alnico 5. Seymour Duncan SH55 Seth Lover Humbucker Pickup
Seymour Duncan SH55 Seth Lover Humbucker Pickup
The SH-55 was designed jointly by Seymour and humbucker inventor Seth Lover. Just like the original 1955 P.A.F.s, the SH-55 utilizes a nickel silver bottom plate, butyrate plastic bobbins; plain enamel wire, an Alnico bar magnet, a wooden spacer, and black paper tape. The SH-55 uses a nickel silver cover instead of brass, which magnetically eliminates too much of the pickup's natural high-end tone.

Seymour Duncan SH6 Distortion Humbucker Pickup
Seymour Duncan SH6 Distortion Humbucker Pickup
The Duncan Distortion gives you high output while retaining clarity. A massive ceramic magnet and hot symmetrical coils deliver tremendous power and raw distorted rock sounds.

Seymour Duncan SH8 Invader Humbucker Pickup

Seymour Duncan SHPG1 Pearly Gates Humbucker Pickup
Seymour Duncan SHPG1 Pearly Gates Humbucker Pickup
Originally designed as a recreation of the pickups in the ?59 Les Paul Standard that defined the raw, rebellious sound of Texas blues-rock. The Pearly Gates is sweet, but slightly rude, with great sustain and a bright top end that make harmonics jump out of the guitar. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable.

Seymour Duncan SHR1 Hot Rails Humbucker Pickup
Seymour Duncan SHR1 Hot Rails Humbucker Pickup
SHR-1 Hot Rails are one of the highest output pickups Seymour Duncan makes. It's a humbucker that fits into a normal single coil slot, so you get the noise canceling effect without cutting a large hole in your guitar. The 2 thin blades with powerful coil windings give you the incredible sustain and a fat, full sound that's needed for playing heavier rock music. This pickup responds to the subtlest finger movements.

Seymour SJBJ1 JB Jr. Strat Humbucker Pickup
Seymour SJBJ1 JB Jr. Strat Humbucker Pickup
This twin coil design pickup gives you the character of SD's popular JB model humbucker in a single-coil size. Its adjustable pole pieces more closely emulate the magnetic field of a full size humbucker and allow you to fine tune the balance of your strings. You can expect great harmonics and a sweet high-end. Compared to Hot Rails, the output is reduced and there's more treble response. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable. USA Patent No. Des. 355,207.

The Five-Two has traditional output and vintage appointments such as vulcanized fibre bobbins, formvar wire, a vintage magnet stagger and waxed cloth hookup cable.
