BOSS Harmonist HR-2 harmonizer pedal demo

via rednebb:

This is a demo of the BOSS Harmonist HR-2. It was produced from 1994 to 1999. I couldn’t find any demos of this pedal, so I decided to make one myself.. It was one of the first compact harmonizer pedals, and it can create two different harmonies up or down: -/+ 3,4,5,6 and OCT. You can select between all 12 different keys, and adjust the level for each voice individually. It can also create a “detune”/chorus effect. I’m using a “Y”-split cable to split my guitar signal to both the “Detector in” input on the HR-2, and my V-Stack BHM preamp pedal. Then the signal goes from the V-Stack to the HR-2’s normal input. The stereo output from the HR-2 goes straight into Cubase music software, with just a little reverb added in the mix. I’m giving you some examples here of what this pedal can do, more info on the video text. www.ketilstrand.com

Xmas Special – Rudolph The Red Nose for Solo Guitar Part 2

via JustinSandercoe:

Check out this fun version of Rudolph for Solo Guitar (not really for complete beginners cos it uses alternating bass patterns – but if you have had some experience of that kinda of thing (say in my Solo Blues DVD’s ;)) then you will probably find it pretty straight forward! Happy Xmas all. Taught by Justin Sandercoe. Full support at the web site where you will find hundreds of lessons on a wide range of subjects, and all the scales and chords that you will ever need! There is a great forum too to get help, no matter what the problem. And it is all totally free, no bull. No sample lessons, no memberships. Just tons of great lessons :) To get help with your lesson or song look up the number at the start of the video title (like ST-123 or whatever) on the Lesson Index page. www.justinguitar.com .

Red Nose Day 2009 – Do Something Funny For Money

via JustinSandercoe:

This is just me and my friend Dave doing something funny for money. To support Red Nose Day 2009 I have made a silly “Air Guitar” instruction video. Hope you had at least a little chuckle at me and Dave making idiots of ourselves… If you enjoyed it then please consider making a donation on my red nose page – all money goes directly to the charity… www.myrednoseday.com As part of supporting Red Nose Day I am running a little competition. To enter you need to make a video of you playing or teaching Air Guitar, and make sure ytou are wearing a red nose! You must also have made a donation to the red nose day at the link above. I will be checking out all the videos and giving out prizes to anyone that has done something really cool. See the web site for more information… www.justinguitar.com My brother in stupidity for this vid is my buddy Dave Marks, who teaches bass here on YouTube… go check him out, cool stuff… http ………..
