Guitar Standard Tuning

via Wonderboy21714:

PLEASE CLICK MORE INFO AND READ THIS Standard Tuning E,B,G,D,A,e The guitar isn’t out of tune so don’t say it is. I used a tuner while making this video and I used one after the video was made. I would know if it was out of tune. Okay, don’t complain about the distortion and blame the distortion for you tuning your guitar wrong. YOU tuned your own guitar wrong. Just practice a bit more and suck it up. If you have trouble because of the distortion then just use a tuner. Not a big deal. And if you’re holding a tuner to your speaker checking my video to see if I was in tune….. Why aren’t you using your tuner on your own guitar and then you bitch at me for tuning your guitar wrong. Not my fault, not the distortions fault, and it’s not YouTube’s fault… It’s your fault. The video is marked as xREDxGUYx at the end. Don’t say this isn’t my video because it is!!! xREDxGUYx is my old youtube account which I deleted. So please don’t try it!

AC/DC – The Ultimate Illustrated History

Voyageur Press has announced a new book, AC/DC – High Voltage Rock n’ Roll: The Ultimate Illustrated History, the first complete illustrated history published about AC/DC.

Here’s what the publisher has to say about AC/DC – High Voltage Rock n’ Roll:

This heavy duty 224-page volume follows AC/DC’s long-and-winding career, from the early days as a bar band in Australia, through the tragic passing of singer Bon Scott and their massive comeback success with one of rock’s all-time classic (and best-selling) albums, Back in Black.

Featuring over 400 illustrations (including handbills, posters, backstage passes, and vinyl from around the globe, as well as rare candid and performance photography), and a special “spinner” cover image of Angus Young, AC/DC – High Voltage Rock n’ Roll: The Ultimate Illustrated History is sure to appeal to both the longtime fan and the newcomer.

Sidebars by rock’s finest journalists weighing in on various eras of the AC/DC are included throughout the book, as well as an album-by-album analysis, and info on the guitar gear championed by the Young brothers.

While many AC/DC fans have heard and experienced the group live on stage numerous times over the years, there has simply never been a book which has chronicled the group’s entire history as vividly as AC/DC – High Voltage Rock n’ Roll: The Ultimate Illustrated History.

In this video I take you through 6 awesome Angus stylee licks, close up and slow for you to check out. There is a pdf tab on the web site page which will probably make things easier. Everybody’s asking about the sound. I have a 1973 Marshall JMP50 head into a vintage late 60’s 4×12 speaker box (for the really anal, the speakers are greenbacks, two original and two re-issues). Settings: Presence 2, Bass 4, Middle 6, Treble 4, Volume I 5, Volume II 0. It’s bloody loud, even but I have it in the live room, connected by a door. No special mic though, it’s just getting picked up by a Neumann 184 I have fitted to the camera and the Lapel Mic. The guitar is a regular modern SG Standard, the trick to get a good Angus tone is to turn the volume down to about 7 or 8 – on full it’s too distorted imho.Taught by Justin Sandercoe. Full support at the web site where you will find hundreds of lessons on a wide range of subjects, and all the scales and chords that you will ever need! There is a great forum too to get help, no matter what the problem. And it is all totally free, no bull. No sample lessons, no memberships. Just tons of great lessons :) To get help with your lesson or song look up the number at the start of the video title (like ST-666 or whatever) on the Lesson Index page. www.justinguitar.com .
